The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the angels who drag forth vehemently. 1 By those who gently draw out (the souls of the blessed); 2 And by those who float in space, 3 And who quickly present themselves. 4 and by the angels who regulate the affairs, (you will certainly be resurrected). 5 A Day shall come whereon the quaking will quake, 6 And the following event will come after it. 7 hearts will undergo terrible trembling, 8 while eyes will be downcast. 9 They say, "What? shall we be brought back to life, 10 even though we may have become [a heap of] crumbling bones?" 11 They said: That then would be a return occasioning loss. 12 Surely it will need but one shout, 13 So they will immediately be in an open plain. 14 Have you received the story of Moses? 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 That "Go to Firaun - he has rebelled." 17 and say [unto him,] 'Art thou desirous of attaining to purity? 18 that I may direct you to your Lord and then you hold Him in awe?'” 19 And he showed him the tremendous token. 20 but he cried lies, and rebelled, 21 Then he turned back striving. 22 Then he gathered and cried aloud, 23 “I am the supreme lord of you all.” 24 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the Everlasting Life, and of this world. 25 Most surely there is in this a lesson to him who fears. 26

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
