The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the heaven, holding mansions of the stars, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Woe to the makers of the pit (of fire), 4 the fire with its fuel, 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 and were themselves witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 [and] to whom the dominion of the heavens and the earth belongs. But God is witness unto everything! 9 Indeed those who troubled the Muslim men and Muslim women, and then did not repent – for them is the punishment of hell, and for them is the punishment of fire. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 VERILY, thy Sustainer's grip is exceedingly strong! 12 Indeed it is He Who initiates and redoes. 13 He is the All-forgiving, the Most Loving One, 14 Owner of the throne, the Glorious 15 Doer of whatsoever He intendeth. 16 Did the story of the armies reach you? 17 (The armies of) Firaun and the tribe of Thamud. 18 Yet those who deny the truth persist in denial. 19 and God is behind them, encompassing. 20 Nay! This is a Glorious Quran, 21 In the Preserved Tablet. 22
