The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 by the promised day, 2 and by the witness (Muhammad) and that which is witnessed (the Day of Judgment), 3 may the people be condemned those who tortured (the believers) in ditches 4 [Containing] the fire full of fuel, 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 And they did not take vengeance on them for aught except that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Praised, 8 To Him only belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is a Witness over all things. 9 Surely (as for) those who persecute the believing men and the believing women, then do not repent, they shall have the chastisement of hell, and they shall have the chastisement of burning. 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 The grip of your Lord is severe indeed! 12 it is He who begins and repeats [His creation], 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Throne, the Glorious, 15 Doer of what He will. 16 Has not there come to you the story of the hosts, 17 Pharaoh and Thamood? 18 Nay, but those who disbelieve live in denial 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 It is indeed a glorious Quran, 21 Inscribed in a tablet preserved. 22
