The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ EXTOL the limitless glory of thy Sustainer's name: [the glory of] the Al-Highest, 1 who created all things and gave them due proportions, 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 And who brings out the pasture 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 WE SHALL teach thee, and thou wilt not forget [aught of what thou art taught,] 6 except what Allah wills, surely, He knows all that is (spoken) aloud and what is hidden. 7 And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) the easy way (i.e. the doing of righteous deeds). 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder profits, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 but the most wretched shall flout it, 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But ye prefer the life of the world 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 This is what is written in the ancient heavenly Books, 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
