Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Unless God may please. He knows the visible and knows what is hidden. 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 he who [in the life to come] shall have to endure the great fire 12 Wherein he shall neither die nor live, 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And who remembereth the name of his Lord, and then prayeth. 15 But you prefer the present life, 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 This, indeed, was in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
