Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Abundance diverts you, 1 until you go down to your graves. 2 Nay, you will soon come to know; 3 But you will soon come to know. 4 Nay, were ye to know with certainty of mind, (ye would beware!) 5 you would indeed, most surely, behold the blazing fire [of hell]! 6 Then you shall most certainly see it with the eye of certainty; 7 Then, on that day, you will be questioned about the bounties (of God). 8

Almighty God's Truth.
