Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 even till you visit the tombs. 2 Nay, but ye will come to know! 3 And once again: Nay, in time you will come to understand! 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 Surely ye shall behold the Scorch. 6 Aye, ye will behold it with sure vision. 7 Then, on that Day, ye shall surely be asked of the delights. 8

God the Almighty always says the truth.
