The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
(On the day) when the sun is made to cease shining, 1 when the stars are thrown down, 2 and when the mountains are moved, 3 And when the camels big with young are abandoned, 4 when the savage beasts shall be brought together, 5 And when the seas are filled with flame 6 And when souls are reunited, 7 when the buried infant shall be asked 8 for what crime she had been slain, 9 And when the books are spread, 10 and when Heaven is laid bare; 11 And when hell is lighted, 12 and Paradise is brought near, 13 (Then) every person will know what he has brought (of good and evil). 14 So verily I call to witness the planets - that recede, 15 The planets withdrawing into themselves, 16 And by the night when it departeth, 17 and the first breath of morning. 18 Verily this is the word of a most honourable Messenger, 19 Endued with Power, with rank before the Lord of the Throne, 20 Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. 21 Your companion (Muhammad) does not suffer from any mental illness 22 He certainly saw him (Gabriel) high up on the horizon in his original form 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 Nor is this the word of a stoned satan. 25 So whither do you stray? 26 It is naught but a reminder for the nations, 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 but you shall not, unless Allah wills, the Lord of all the Worlds. 29
