Say (O Muhammad SAW): " My Lord! If You would show me that with which they are threatened (torment), 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 Indeed, We are able to show you that which We promised them. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 I even seek Your refuge, my Lord, lest they should approach me." 98 (They shall persist in their deeds) until when death comes to anyone of them he will say: "My Lord, send me back to the world 99 That I may do some good I did not do (in the world)." Not so. These are only words he utters. Behind them lies the intervening barrier (stretching) to the day of their resurrection. 100 There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. 101 Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, - these, they are the successful. 102 And those whose scales are light are those who lose their souls, in hell abiding. 103 The fire shall scorch their faces, and they will remain dejected in it. 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 They will say: "our Lord! Our misfortune overwhelmed us, and we became a people astray! 106 O our Lord! Take us out of it; then if we return (to evil) surely we shall be unjust. 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 Verily there was a party of My bondmen who said: our Lord! we have believed, wherefore forgive us and have mercy upon us, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones! 109 But you took them for a laughing-stock, till they made you forget My remembrance, mocking at them. 110 On this day I have given them their reward for their exercising patience and it is they who have triumphed." 111 Then Allah will ask them: "For how many years did you stay on earth?" 112 They will say: We tarried by a day or part of a day. Ask of those who keep count! 113 He will say, “You stayed but only a little, if you knew.” 114 Deemed ye then that We had created you for naught, and that ye would not be returned unto Us? 115 So exalted be Allah, the True King; no god is there but He, the Lord of the honorable dominion. 116 And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. 117 So say: "O my Lord! grant Thou forgiveness and mercy for Thou art the Best of those who show mercy!" 118
