The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
I swear by the mansions of the stars, 1 And by the Promised Day. 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Perish the fellows of the ditch, 4 the makers of the fuel-stoked fire! 5 When they sat by it 6 fully conscious of what they are doing to the believers, 7 And they ill-treated them for no other reason than that they believed in Allah, Exalted in Power, Worthy of all Praise!- 8 to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. Allah witnesses everything. 9 Verily, as for those who persecute believing men and believing women, and thereafter do not repent, hell's suffering awaits them: yea, suffering through fire awaits them! 10 Surely for those who believe and do the right are gardens with rivers running by. That is the greatest success. 11 The vengeance of God is terribly severe. 12 It is verily He who initiates and repeats. 13 And He is the Oft-Forgiving, Full of Loving-Kindness, 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 the Executor of what He wills. 16 Has the story reached thee, of the forces- 17 Of Pharaoh and (the tribe of) Thamud? 18 Nay, but the unbelievers still cry lies, 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 This is indeed the glorious Qur'an 21 [Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate. 22
God the Almighty always says the truth.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
