Did you not see those who dispute concerning Allah's Signs? Whence are they, then, being turned astray? 69 Those who reject the Book and the (revelations) with which We sent our messengers: but soon shall they know,- 70 When the fetters and the chains shall be on their necks; they shall be dragged 71 In boiling water; then in the Fire they will be filled [with flame]. 72 Then shall it be said to them: Where is that which you used to set up 73 "In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray. 74 "That was because ye were wont to rejoice on the earth in things other than the Truth, and that ye were wont to be insolent. 75 Enter ye the gates of Hell as abiders therein. Hapless is the abode of the stiff-necked. 76 Wherefore persevere thou; verily the promise of Allah is true; then whether We let thee see a part of that wherewith We have promised them, or whether We cause thee to die, unto Us they all will be caused to return. 77 Indeed We sent many Noble Messengers before you, so We have related to you the affairs of some among them, and not related the affairs of some; and no Noble Messenger has the right to bring any sign except with the command of Allah; so the time when the command of Allah comes, the true judgement will be delivered and there will the people of falsehood be ruined. 78
