Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner of their own hath come unto them; and the disbelievers say: This is a strange thing: 2 What! when we are dead and have become dust? That is afar (from probable) return. 3 We already know how much of them the earth takes away: With Us is a record guarding (the full account). 4 Aye! they belie the truth when it cometh unto them; wherefore they are in an affair confused. 5 Do they not look at the sky above them?- How We have made it and adorned it, and there are no flaws in it? 6 and We have spread out the earth, and have set upon it firm mountains, and have caused it to bring out plants of all beauteous kinds? 7 To be observed and commemorated by every devotee turning (to Allah). 8 and We have sent down from the sky blessed water with which We have brought forth gardens and grain to be harvested, 9 and tall palm-trees with their thickly-clustered spathes; 10 as a provision for the worshipers; thereby We revived a land that was dead. Such shall be the emerging. 11 [Long] before those [who now deny resurrection] did Noah's people give the lie to this truth, and [so did] the folk of Ar-Rass, and [the tribes of] Thamud 12 And 'Ad, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lout (Lot), 13 and the dwellers of the Wood, and the people of Tubba': every one denied their messengers, and so My warning came true. 14 Were We then fatigued with the first creation? Yet are they in doubt with regard to a new creation. 15
