No, by the moon! 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 As a warning unto men, 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 Except those on the Right, (i.e. the pious true believers of Islamic Monotheism); 39 [dwelling] In gardens [of paradise,] they will inquire 40 And (ask) of the Sinners: 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 Nor did we used to feed the poor. 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 Until the certainty (of death) had come upon us. 47 Then will no intercession of (any) intercessors profit them. 48 WHAT, THEN, is amiss with them that they turn away from all admonition 49 like frightened donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 Never! In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily. Lo! this is an Admonishment. 54 So whosoever will may heed. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
