Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And those that strike violently, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 excusing or warning, 6 surely that which you are promised is about to fall! 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 when heaven shall be split 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 19 Did We not create you from an abject fluid? 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 till a known term decreed? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a storehouse? 25 for the living and the dead, 26 and have We not set on it proud, firm mountains, and given you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 28 Depart to that you cried was lies! 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 If you have any plans, use them. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
