And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Does he not remember that We created him when he did not exist? 67 So by your Lord! We will most certainly gather them together and the Shaitans, then shall We certainly cause them to be present round hell on their knees. 68 We shall pull out of every section those who were most perversely rebellious against Ar-Rahman. 69 We surely know best those most deserving of the fires of hell, 70 Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 When Our clear verses are recited to them the unbelievers say to the believers: 'Which of the two parties has a better position or company?' 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say: As for him who is in error, the Beneficent will verily prolong his span of life until, when they behold that which they were promised, whether it be punishment (in the world), or the Hour (of doom), they will know who is worse in position and who is weaker as an army. 75 And God endows those who avail themselves of [His] guidance with an ever-deeper consciousness of the right way; and good deeds, the fruit whereof endures forever, are, in thy Sustainer's sight, of far greater merit [than any worldly goods,] and yield far better returns. 76 Have you seen he who disbelieves Our verses and yet says: 'I shall surely be given wealth and children' 77 Hath he looked unto the Unseen, or hath he taken of the Compassionate a covenant? 78 No! We will record what he says and extend for him from the punishment extensively. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 But they shall reject their worship and turn against them. 82
