Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say: 'It is a mighty tiding 67 [how can] you turn away from it?" 68 "I had no knowledge of the chiefs (angels) on high when they were disputing and discussing (about the creation of Adam). 69 It has not been revealed to me except that I am a clear warner." 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 Allah said: O Iblis! what preventeth thee from prostrating thyself before that which I have created with both my hands? Becomest thou stiff-necked, or art thou of the exalted ones? 75 Satan replied, "I am better than him. You created me from fire, but You created him from clay." 76 [Allah] said, "Then get out of Paradise, for indeed, you are expelled. 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 so He said, "You are granted respite 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 except those of Your servants, the chosen ones from amongst them.” 83 (Allah) said: "Then it is just and fitting- and I say what is just and fitting- 84 "That I will certainly fill Hell with thee and those that follow thee,- every one." 85 Say, "I do not ask you for any recompense for this, nor am I a man of false pretentions: 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
