This surely is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe: 192 trustworthy divine inspiration has alighted with it from on high 193 Upon your heart, for you to convey warning. 194 It has been revealed in plain Arabic. 195 This is (indicated) in the Books of earlier people. 196 Was it not a sign for them known to the learned of the Children of Israel? 197 And if we had revealed it to any of the foreigners 198 And had he recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Thus it passes through the hearts of the criminals. 200 They will not believe it until they behold the painful punishment. 201 But the (Penalty) will come to them of a sudden, while they perceive it not; 202 Then they will say: "Can we be respited?" 203 Do they really want Our chastisement to be expedited? 204 What do you see? If We gave them enjoyment for years, 205 and then the chastisement of which they were being warned were to come upon them, 206 what will it then avail them, the enjoyment of days they were given? 207 Never did We destroy a population, but had its warners - 208 To advise; and We never oppress. 209 And this Qur’an was not brought down by the devils. 210 they are not supposed to do so. Nor do have they the ability for such a task. 211 indeed they are debarred from overhearing it. 212 Therefore do not worship another deity along with Allah, for you will be punished. 213 And warn your near relations, 214 and be kind to your believing followers. 215 And if they disobey you, then say, "Indeed, I am disassociated from what you are doing." 216 And put your trust in Him Who is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate, 217 who sees thee when thou standest 218 And (seeth) thine abasement among those who fall prostrate (in worship). 219 He is all-hearing and all-knowing. 220 Shall I inform you, (O people!), on whom it is that the evil ones descend? 221 They come down to every mendacious sinner, 222 Who gives ear (to the devils and they pour what they may have heard of the unseen from the angels), and most of them are liars. 223 And the Poets,- It is those straying in Evil, who follow them: 224 Have you not seen that they wander distract in every valley, 225 And that they say what they do not do. 226 Not so the true believers who do good works and remember God with fervour and defend themselves only after they are wronged. The wrongdoers will soon know how evil a turn their affairs will take. 227
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
