VERILY, those who are conscious of God [shall find themselves in the hereafter] amidst gardens and springs, 45 "(It will be said to them): 'Enter therein (Paradise), in peace and security.' 46 We shall cast out any grudge they may have in their hearts. (There) they will sit on couches face to face like brothers together. 47 Neither any hardship is to reach them in it, nor are they to be expelled from it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 And that My Penalty will be indeed the most grievous Penalty. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered unto him, and said; peace! He said: verily we are afraid of you. 52 They said: be not afraid; verily we bear thou the glad tidings of a boy knowing. 53 Abraham asked, "Are you giving me the glad news of a son in my old age? What reason can you give for such glad news?" 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 He said: What is your business then, O apostles? 57 They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals, 58 Except for Lot's household, all of whom we shall rescue, 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
