Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
We certainly bestowed Our favor upon Moses and Aaron 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 We helped them, and they became victorious, 116 and We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Right Path; 118 And We perpetuated (praise) to them among the later generations. 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 They are among Our faithful devotees. 122 So also was Elias among those sent (by Us). 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Will you invoke Baal and forsake [God,] the best of artisans 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 except the sincere worshipers of Allah. 128 And We left for him [favorable mention] among later generations: 129 Peace be unto Elyasin. 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And verily Lut was of the sent ones. 133 We rescued him and his whole family, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
