50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 And those raging swiftly; 2 By the spreading winds spreading. 3 thus separating [right and wrong] with all clarity, 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Most surely what you are threatened with must come to pass. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 And when the heaven is rent asunder, 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 The Day of Judgement. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 So shall We make later (generations) follow them. 17 [for] thus do We deal with such as are lost in sin. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 Till an appointed term, 22 And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 For the living and the dead. 26 And made therein mountains standing firm, lofty (in stature); and provided for you water sweet (and wholesome)? 27 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 34 This is a day wherein they speak not, 35 Nor are they suffered to put forth excuses. 36 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 37 Such is the Day of Decision. We will gather you with the ancients. 38 and if you [think that you] have a subterfuge left, try to outwit Me!" 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40

عند قراءة القرآن الملون في وضعية اللغة العربية المرسومة بالأحرف الإنجليزية، قد لا تلاحظ وجود منظومة برمجية مصممة لمطابقة متطلبات علامات الوقف في النص العربي الأصلي. فكما تعلم، يحتوي القرآن على خمسة أنواع رئيسية من علامات الوقف. (1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. (3) وقف جائز مع تساوي أولوية الوقف والوصل، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال النصف للنصف. (4) وقف جائز مع الوصل أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلث. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
