Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Ya Sin. 1 By the Wise Qur'an, 2 verily, thou art indeed one of God's message-bearers, 3 on a straight path, 4 A revelation from the mighty, ever-merciful (God), 5 That thou mayest warn a people whose fathers were not warned; so they are negligent. 6 Certainly the word has proved true of most of them, so they do not believe. 7 We have enchained their necks up to their chins. Thus, they cannot bend their heads (to find their way). 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 It is We who bring the dead to life and records the deeds of human beings and their consequences (of continual effects). We keep everything recorded in an illustrious Book. 12
