Say: "Call on those you imagine are gods apart from God. They are not masters even of an atom's weight in the heavens and the earth, nor do they have a share in them, nor is any one of them a helper (of God). 22 Intercession with Him will not help, except for him to whom He gives permission. When terror is lifted from their hearts, they shall say: 'What did your Lord say' 'The truth' they shall answer. 'He is the Most High, the Great' 23 ۞ Say: "Who is it that provides for you sustenance out of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "It is God. And behold, either we [who believe in Him] or you [who deny His oneness] are on the right path, or have clearly gone astray!" 24 Tell them: “You will not be called to account about the guilt we committed, nor will we be called to account for what you did.” 25 Say: "Our Lord will gather us together and will in the end decide the matter between us (and you) in truth and justice: and He is the one to decide, the One Who knows all." 26 Say, “(Dare you) Show me those whom you have matched with Him – never! Rather only He is Allah, the Most Honourable, the Wise.” 27 We have not sent thee but as a universal (Messenger) to men, giving them glad tidings, and warning them (against sin), but most men understand not. 28 And they say: when is this promise to be fulfilled if ye say sooth? 29 Say: "Determined is the day of the promise, which you can neither put back nor advance an hour.'' 30
