Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Hast thou seen him who cries lies to the Doom? 1 For that is the one who drives away the orphan 2 and feels no urge to feed the needy. 3 So woe to those that pray 4 who become confused during their prayers, 5 Those who do things only to be seen by others. 6 and refuse to help the needy. 7

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
