(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 I am told (about matters) by means of revelation only because I am a clear warner.” 70 When thy Lord said unto the angels: Lo! I am about to create a mortal out of mire, 71 “So when I have perfected him and breathed into him a spirit from Myself, (you all) fall down before him in prostration.” 72 The angels prostrated themselves, all of them. 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He said: I am better than he: me Thou hast created of fire, and him Thou hast created of clay. 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 Said [Iblis]: "Then, O my Sustainer, grant me a respite till the Day when all shall be raised from the dead!" 79 (God) said: "You have the respite 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 (Iblis) said: “By Your glory, I shall mislead them all 82 except those among them who are Your sincere worshipers' 83 Allah said: the truth is, and it is the truth that I speak 84 That I will most certainly fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all. 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 And ye shall surely come to know the truth thereof after a season. 88
