The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the midmorning, 1 and by the night when it covers the world with peace: 2 Thy Lord has neither forsaken thee nor hates thee 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And verily, your Lord will give you (all i.e. good) so that you shall be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find thee an orphan and protect (thee)? 6 Did He not find thee erring, and guide thee? 7 Did He not find thee needy, and suffice thee? 8 Therefore, treat not the orphan with oppression, 9 and do not reject the beggars 10 and of thy Sustainer's blessings shalt thou [ever] speak. 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
