The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe unto every slanderer, traducer, 1 who collects and hordes wealth, 2 He bethinketh that his wealth shall abide for him. 3 By no means! He shall surely be cast into the Crushing Fire. 4 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is! 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 Which will climb on to the hearts. 7 closed around them 8 In extended columns. 9

God the Almighty always says the truth.
