Al-Zalzalah

The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

When the earth is shaken by the shaking thereof, 1 And the earth discharges its burdens 2 And man says: What has befallen her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 whoever has done the smallest particle of good will see it; 7 And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. 8

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
