The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth is shaken by a terrible quake 1 And the earth bringeth forth her burthens, 2 and man will cry out: “What is the matter with her?” 3 On that Day it will relate all her news, 4 Because your Lord has commanded it. 5 On that Day will all men come forward, cut off from one another, to be shown their [past] deeds. 6 Then whosoever hath worked good of an atom's weight shall behold it 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
