The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

The Clatterer! 1 How awesome the sudden calamity! 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 A Day on which human beings would be like so many scattered moths, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then, the one whose good deeds weigh heavy on the scales, 6 Will have a tranquil life; 7 but he whose scales weigh lighter, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 And what will explain to thee what this is? 10 A burning fire. 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
