Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

۞ Did We not expand for you, [O Muhammad], your breast? 1 And removed from you your burden, 2 Which had broken your back? 3 And We have exalted your remembrance for you. 4 And behold, with every hardship comes ease: 5 Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease. 6 So when you are free work diligently, 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
