The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
The Calamity! 1 What is the Clatterer. 2 Would that you knew what the Clatterer is! 3 A Day whereon mankind shall become as moths scattered, 4 And the mountains shall be as loosened wool. 5 Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds], 6 shall live in a life which is pleasing, 7 But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, 8 shall be engulfed by an abyss. 9 Would that you knew what hawiya his? 10 It is a Fire, intensely hot. 11
