(Moses) said: My Lord! relieve my mind 25 "Ease my task for me; 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 that they may understand my words. 28 Appoint for me of my folk a familiar, 29 "Harun (Aaron), my brother; 30 Strengthen by him my back. 31 And let him share my task, 32 so that we exalt You 33 and remember Thee abundantly. 34 “Indeed You see us.” 35 He said: "Moses, your petition is granted. 36 We have bestowed Our favour on you before this 37 When We told your mother what We relate: 38 "'Put him into a chest, then cast it into the river. The river will cast it on to the bank, and there he shall be taken up by an enemy of Mine and his.' I showered My love on you so that you might be reared under My watchful eye. 39 “When your sister went, then said, ‘Shall I show you the people who may nurse him?’ And We brought you back to your mother in order to soothe her eyes and that she may not grieve; and you killed a man, so We freed you from sorrow, and tested you to the maximum; you therefore stayed for several years among the people of Madyan; then you came (here) at an appointed time, O Moosa.” 40 "And I have prepared thee for Myself (for service)".. 41 go therefore, thou and thy brother; with My signs, and neglect not to remember Me. 42 "Go, both of you, to Pharaoh, for he has indeed transgressed all bounds; 43 "But speak to him mildly; perchance he may take warning or fear (Allah)." 44 The two said:" Lord! We fear he may commit excesses against us, or transgress all bounds." 45 He said, “Do not fear – I am with you, All Hearing and All Seeing.” 46 They came to the Pharaoh and told him that they were the Messengerss of his Lord and that they wanted him to let the Israelites go with them and stop afflicting the Israelites with torment. They told the Pharaoh, "We have brought miracles from Our Creator. Peace be with those who follow the right guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that those who call our message a lie or turn away from it will face the torment." 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 He replied: "Our Sustainer is He who gives unto every thing [that exists] its true nature and form, and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment]. 50 He said: Then what is the state of the former generations? 51 (Moses) replied: "Knowledge of that is with my Lord (recorded) in the Book. My Lord neither errs nor forgets." 52 [It is He] who has made for you the earth as a bed [spread out] and inserted therein for you roadways and sent down from the sky, rain and produced thereby categories of various plants. 53 To eat and feed your cattle. Surely there are signs in these for those who are wise. 54
