We built the heaven with might, and We widely extended it. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And of everything We have created pairs; perhaps you will take heed. 49 And so, [O Muhammad, say unto them:] "Flee unto God [from all that is false and evil]! Verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him! 50 And set not any other god along with Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from Him. 51 Thus has it been (in the past): never did a Messenger come to the nations that preceded them but they said: “(He is) a sorcerer, or a mad-man.” 52 Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another? Nay, but they are froward folk. 53 So turn away from them: not thine is the blame. 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 I have only created Jinns and men, that they may serve Me. 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 So verily unto those who do wrong there is a portion like unto the portion of their fellows; wherefore let them not ask Me to hasten on. 59 For, woe unto those who are bent on denying the truth - [woe] on the Day which they have been promised 60
