Surely those who guard (against evil) shall be in the midst of gardens and fountains: 45 [having been received with the greeting,] "Enter here in peace, secure!" 46 We shall remove all rancor from their hearts, and as brethren they shall recline on couches face to face. 47 Toil cometh not unto them there, nor will they be expelled from thence. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I - I alone - am truly forgiving, a true dispenser of grace; 49 and that My punishment is a painful one. 50 AND TELL THEM [once again] about Abraham's guests 51 [how,] when they presented themselves before him and bade him peace, he answered: "Behold, we are afraid of you!" 52 They said: "Do not feel afraid, for we give you the good news of a wise boy." 53 He said, "Do you bring me such news despite my old age? What kind of good news are you bringing me?" 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 He said: what is your errand, sent ones? 57 They said: Surely we are sent towards a guilty people, 58 "Except the family of Lot whom we shall save 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
