And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and saved them and their people from great distress. 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 And We guided them on the straight path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 they were among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 Allah, your Lord and Lord of your forefathers? 126 And they denied him, so indeed, they will be brought [for punishment], 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 [So mention] when We saved him and his family, all, 134 Save an old woman among the lingerers. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138
