Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the Sky is cleft asunder; 1 When the planets are dispersed, 2 And when the seas are burst forth (got dried up); 3 And when the graves are laid open, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 And yet, verily, there are ever-watchful forces over you, 10 noble recorders, 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Lo! the righteous verily will be in delight. 13 and the wicked shall be in the Blazing Fire. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 How can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 17 Again, what do you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
