Do you not see how those who dispute about the verses of Allah how they are turned about? 69 Those who denied the Book and what We sent with Our Noble Messengers; so they will soon come to know. – 70 When the yokes (shall be) round their necks, and the chains; they shall be dragged along- 71 and are dragged into burning despair, and in the end become fuel for the fire [of hell]. 72 It will then be asked of them: 'Where are those whom you associated, 73 They will reply, "They have abandoned us. In fact, we had worshipped nothing" Thus does God cause the disbelievers to go astray. 74 (And it is said unto them): This is because ye exulted in the earth without right, and because ye were petulant. 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna and live there for ever. Evil is the lodging of the proud. 76 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true. Whether We show thee a part of that We promise them, or We call thee unto Us, to Us they shall be returned. 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
