(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is in-between the twain, the Mighty, the Forgiver. 66 Say, "It is great news 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 I have no knowledge of the dispute among the angels (concerning their attitude towards Adam). 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Except Iblis; he was proud and was, from the beginning, a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 (Iblis) said: "I am better than he: thou createdst me from fire, and him thou createdst from clay." 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 He said: my Lord! respite me till the Day whereon they are raised up. 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 Until the day of the time appointed. 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 He said: The Truth is, and the Truth I speak, 84 I will certainly fill the Gehenna with you and with all those among them who follow you.” 85 (Muhammad), say, "I do not ask any reward for my preaching to you for I am not a pretender. 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
