And We did certainly create man out of clay from an altered black mud. 26 and the jinn created We before of fire flaming. 27 Behold! thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man, from sounding clay from mud moulded into shape; 28 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 29 So the angels fell prostrate, all of them together 30 save Iblis: he refused to be among those who prostrated themselves. 31 [Allah] said, O Iblees, what is [the matter] with you that you are not with those who prostrate?" 32 He replied: 'I will not prostrate to a mortal You have created of clay, from molded mud' 33 God said, "Then get out of here; for you are accursed, 34 “And indeed you are accursed till the Day of Judgement.” 35 He said, "My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected." 36 "You are among the reprieved," (said the Lord), 37 Till the Day of the Time known. 38 He said: my Lord! because Thou hast led me to err I will surely make things fairseeming unto them on the earth and will surely seduce them all: 39 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 40 He (Allah) said: 'This is for Me the Right Path 41 No power shall you have over (all) My creatures except those who fall into error and follow you, 42 "And surely, Hell is the promised place for them all. 43 Unto it are seven portals; unto each portal is a portion of them assigned. 44
