The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ THE MOST GRACIOUS 1 Taught the Qur'an, 2 He created man 3 Has taught him the knowledge of the past and the future. 4 The sun and the moon follow a reckoning, 5 The stars and the trees prostrate. 6 And the heaven! He hath elevated it, and He hath set the balance. 7 That you not transgress within the balance. 8 but weigh things equitably and skimp not in the balance. 9 And the earth He has put for the creatures. 10 In which are fruits, and covered dates. 11 grain with its husk and aromatic herbs. 12 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord, will ye twain belie? 13 He created man from clay like [that of] pottery. 14 and He created the jinn from smokeless fire. 15 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 16 Lord of the two easts and of the two wests is He. 17 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 18 He has set flowing two seas that appear to meet. 19 Between them is a Barrier which they do not transgress: 20 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 21 There come forth from the twain the pearl and the coral. 22 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord would you then deny? 23 His are the high-sailed vessels in deep ocean like the mountains. 24 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 25
