Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
YA SIN. 1 Consider this Qur'an full of wisdom: 2 You (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) are indeed one of the Noble Messengers. 3 On a straight path, 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 That you may warn a people whose fathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Assuredly the word hath been justified against most of them, wherefore they shall not believe. 7 Surely We have placed chains on their necks, and these reach up to their chins, so they have their heads raised aloft. 8 And We have placed before them a barrier and behind them a barrier, so We have covered them, so that they see not. 9 And it is the same for them, whether you warn them or do not warn them – they will not believe. 10 You can warn only him who follows the Admonition and fears the Merciful Lord without seeing Him. Give such a one good tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward. 11 Verily, We give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before (them), and their traces [their footsteps and walking on the earth with their legs to the mosques for the five compulsory congregational prayers, Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) and all other good and evil they did, and that which they leave behind], and all things We have recorded with numbers (as a record) in a Clear Book. 12
