The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ AR-RAHMAN 1 who taught the Quran -- 2 He has created man: 3 Taught him the mode of expression. 4 The sun and moon rotate in a predestined orbit. 5 The plants and trees prostrate before Him. 6 He raised the sky and set the Balance 7 That you may not be inordinate in respect of the measure. 8 but weigh things equitably and skimp not in the balance. 9 And the earth, He has set it for living creatures; 10 Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates] 11 Grain with husk, and fragrant grasses. 12 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 13 He created man from clay like [that of] pottery. 14 And He created the jinn of a flame of fire. 15 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 16 He is the Lord of the East and West through all seasons. 17 Which of the powers of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 18 He unleashed the two seas so that they merge together, 19 [yet] between them is a barrier which they may not transgress. 20 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 21 Out of them come Pearls and Coral: 22 Which favors of your Lord will you both belie? 23 His are the lofty ships, that rear aloft on the sea like mountains. 24 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you then deny? 25
