Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Hast thou observed him who belieth religion? 1 Behold, it is this [kind of man] that thrusts the orphan away, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 Woe to the worshippers 4 As are of their prayer careless. 5 Who do (good) to be seen, 6 But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs. 7

God the Almighty always says the truth.
