Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ Have We not caused thy bosom to dilate, 1 and relieved you of your burden 2 Which had broken your back? 3 And We have upraised for thee thy renown. 4 Then verily along with every hardship is ease. 5 Lo! with hardship goeth ease; 6 So when you have finished (from your occupation), then stand up for Allah's worship (i.e. stand up for prayer). 7 And to your Lord (Alone) turn (all your intentions and hopes and) your invocations. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
