Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 [Having been told], "Enter it in peace, safe [and secure]." 46 And We have removed any resentments which were in their breasts – they are brothers, sitting face to face on thrones. 47 There, no fatigue shall smite them, nor shall they ever be driven from it' 48 ۞ Tell My servants I am the All-forgiving, the All-compassionate, 49 But My punishment is surely a painful one. 50 And tell them of the guests of Abraham, 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you give me glad tidings (of a son) when old age has overtaken me? Of what then is your news?" 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said, "And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord except for those astray?" 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 "Except his wife, of whom We have decreed that she shall be of those who remain behind (i.e. she will be destroyed)." 60
