But the godfearing shall be amidst gardens and fountains: 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And [by then] We shall have removed whatever unworthy thoughts or feelings may have been [lingering] in their breasts, [and they shall rest] as brethren, facing one another [in love] upon thrones of happiness. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Declare (O Muhammad SAW) unto My slaves, that truly, I am the Oft-Forgiving, the Most-Merciful. 49 At the same time, My chastisement is highly painful. 50 Tell them of Abraham's guests. 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 They said: "Do not feel afraid, for we give you the good news of a wise boy." 53 Abraham said: "What, do you give me this tiding though old age has smitten me? Just consider what tiding do you give me!" 54 They (the angels) said: "We give you glad tidings in truth. So be not of the despairing ones." 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He added: "And what [else] may you have in view, O you [heavenly] messengers?" 57 They said, “We have been sent towards a guilty nation.” 58 Except Lot's family, of whom we shall save all, 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
