Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who created and shaped, 2 who determined and guided, 3 who brought forth the pasturage 4 Then maketh it to stubble dusky. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He who purified himself shall prosper, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 But you prefer the worldly life, 16 and the world to come is better, and more enduring. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 the Scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
