And recite in the Book the account of Moses. He was a chosen one, a Messenger, a Prophet. 51 We called out to him from the right side of the Mount, and We drew him near to Us by communing to him in secret, 52 And We gave him out of Our mercy his brother Aaron as a prophet. 53 AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Ishmael. Behold, he was always true to his promise, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet, 54 He bade his people to pray and to give the alms, and he was pleasing to his Lord. 55 And mention in the Book Idris; he was a true man, a Prophet. 56 And We raised him to an exalted station. 57 These were the Prophets from the offspring of Adam, from those who embarked with Noah and from the offspring of Abraham and Israel. God guided them and chose them for His favor. Whenever they would hear the revelations of the Beneficent God they would bow down in prostration with tears. ۩ 58 ۞ But there came after them an evil generation, who neglected prayers and followed and sensual desires, so they win meet perdition, 59 save him who repents, and believes, and does a righteous deed; those -- they shall enter Paradise, and they shall not be wronged anything; 60 In the gardens of Eden promised by Ar-Rahman to His creatures in the unknown (future). Verily His promise will come to pass. 61 They will hear no vain talk there, but only salutations of peace, and they will have their sustenance morning and evening." 62 Such is the Garden which We shall cause those of Our bondmen to inherit who have been God-fearing. 63 (The angels say:) "We descend not but by command of thy Lord: to Him belongeth what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between: and thy Lord never doth forget,- 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them – therefore worship Him and be firm in His worship; do you know any other of the same name as His? 65
