1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Gather all the wicked together and their comrades, and those they had worshipped 22 instead of God, and lead them all onto the way to the blazing fire, 23 And halt them so that they may be questioned. 24 “What is the matter with you, that you do not help one another?” 25 In fact this day they have all surrendered. 26 They will then turn towards each other (and start wrangling). 27 They will say: verily ye! ye were wont to come unto us Imposing. 28 They will say: nay! ye yourselves were not believers. 29 we had no power over you; but you yourselves were a rebellious people. 30 “So the Word of our Lord has proved true upon us; we will surely have to taste (the punishment).” 31 We mislead you and we ourselves had also gone astray." 32 So indeed they, that Day, will be sharing in the punishment. 33 Verily, thus shall We deal with all who were lost in sin: 34 They were the ones, who on being told, "God is only One," become puffed-up with pride 35 And said: "Should we abandon our gods for the sake of an insane poet?" 36 "Surely, he has brought the truth, confirming those who were sent before; 37 You will indeed taste a painful punishment, 38 Ye are requited naught save what ye did - 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 Those! theirs shall be a provision known: 41 Fruits; and they shall be honoured, 42 (They will live) in the bountiful gardens, 43 On thrones, facing each other. 44 A bowl shall be made to go round them from water running out of springs, 45 Crystal-white, of a taste delicious to those who drink (thereof), 46 no headiness will be in it, and they will not get drunk thereon. 47 And with them will be mates of modest gaze, most beautiful of eye, 48 As if they were eggs, safely hidden. 49 And they will approach one another, inquiring of each other. 50 A speaker among them will say, "Indeed, I had a companion [on earth] 51 who would say: "Are you among the believers (of the resurrection)? 52 "'When we die and become dust and bones, shall we indeed receive rewards and punishments?'" 53 He said: 'Will you look down?' 54 Then he will look downwards, and will see him in the depths of Hell. 55 He will say, "By Allah, you almost ruined me. 56 But for Allah's favour, I should be one of those who have been mustered here. 57 What, do we then not die 58 Except our previous death? And we shall not be chastised? 59 Indeed, this is the great attainment. 60 For the like of this, then, let the workers work. 61 Is that better by way of hospitality or the Zaqqum tree, 62 For We have truly made it (as) a trial for the wrong-doers. 63 Surely it is a tree that-grows in the bottom of the hell; 64 its fruit [as repulsive] as satans' heads; 65 They will eat and fill their bellies with it, 66 And behold, above all this they will be confounded with burning despair! 67 Then most surely their return shall be to hell. 68 These are the ones who found their fathers steeped in error, 69 and they run in their footsteps. 70 And indeed most of the men of old went astray before them; 71 although, verily, We had sent warners unto them: 72 See how those who were warned met their end! 73 except for the chosen servants of Allah? 74
