The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what shall teach thee what is the Clatterer? 3 It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed, 4 and the mountains shall be like fluffs of carded wool in varying colours. 5 Then he whose deeds shall weigh heavier in the scale 6 He is therefore in the desired bliss. 7 And as for him whose measure of good deeds is light, 8 Will have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11
